IntegriSTAT 205 is powerful non-toxic alternative for managing hoof health. It is non-antibiotic, non-toxic, effective and environmentally friendly.
IntegriSTAT 205 is a highly concentrated formulation containing a powerful sanitizing agent and special buffering compounds. It must be diluted
with clean water and may not be used in combination with other chemicals or hoof bath additives. The dilution rate is two ounces per gallon of water in the hoof bath.
integriSTAT 205contains a powerful bactericidal agent that University tests have shown to be highly effective at killing a range of microorganisms including those thought to be responsible for Hoof Rot and Hairy Heel Warts. IntegriSTAT is not an antibiotic, therefore pathogens cannot develop "immunity." integriSTAT kills by disrupting the cellular function of microorganisms. At recommended dose and exposures, it does not harm healthy tissue.
• Five baths per week for one (1) week only = 5 exposures per cow
• The objective is an intensive exposure for a brief period of time
• Three baths per week for six (6) weeks = 18 exposures per cow
• The objective is a controlled reduction in the number of warts to the point of virtual elimination
• Two or fewer baths per week and/or lower dose of IntegrSTAT per gallon of water
• The objective is a slow, systematic reduction in the number of cow exposures or the amount of IntegriSTAT
concentrate being used in the bath in order to achieve the desired level of hoof health at the greatest economy
Important Disclaimer - The IntegriSTAT 205 Three Step Program is a GUIDELINE based upon extensive use trials and experience. In many cases, Hairy Heel Warts have been dramatically reduced and in some cases virtually eliminated from the herd. In some cases, perhaps where the suggested Guidelines for use were not observed, it was not effective. The benefits of replacing toxic hoof health management products with IntegriSTAT 205 are compelling and worthy of the attention it takes to execute the Program properly. If, however, IntegriSTAT 205, for whatever reason, fails to meet your objectives and expectations, discontinue use immediately.
Important - Do not mix integriSTAT with other chemicals or hoof bath additives. Use only in a clean hoof bath. If you have been using copper sulfate, the hoof bath should be pressure washed and free of any copper residual. Do not use more than two ounces per gallon.
Measure hoof bath in inches. Multiply Width by Length by Depth. Divide by 231 (there are 231 cubic inches per gallon). This equals the capacity of the hoof bath in gallons.
Example: Hoof bath size is 4' X 6' X 5" deep (liquid level when full). So 48" X 72" X 5" = 17, 280 cubic inches divided by 231 cubic inches per gallon = 75 gallons. At the dosage rate of 2 ounces of IntegriStat per gallon of water, 150 ounces are needed to dose correctly.
Universities recommend 3 to 5 cow passes per gallon of hoof bath volume before dumping the dirty bath and refilling. One cow passing through the hoof bath is a single "cow pass". To determine the number of cow passes per gallon, divide the number of cows between bath refills by the number of gallons in the bath.
