According to company spokesman, Brad Whitsel, "The liquid is now treated wastewater that is virtually odor free. It's also very low in nutrient values so it can be land applied in much higher volumes per acre while still meeting nutrient planning requirements."
The final step in the INTEGRITY System is land application of the treated, odor-free liquid. A device called a PulseJet is used for this purpose. The INTEGRITY PulseJet permits land application at a precisely controlled rate adjustable from .009 to .05 inches/acre/hour . Whitsel explained "The liquid is delivered only to the root zone which allows application under a wide range of soil conditions without fear of run-off or over-saturation." Whitsel added "The PulseJet land applies the equivalent of about 300 tanker loads per month at about 1/2 the cost."
The INTEGRITY Manure Treatment and Nutrient Management System was recently installed at the state-of-the-art dairy teaching facility of the State University of NY in Cobleskill.
