Many dairy producers do not have enough land to increase herd-size, and stricter regulations governing phosphorous adds to the challenge of responsibly disposing of manure. Where adequate cropland is not available to take up nutrient-rich manure, excess nutrients can contaminate ground and surface water.

INTEGRITY Systems allow operators to increase herd size by designing a manure management system that concentrates nutrients in a small percentage of the total waste-stream. This high value fertilizer can then be easily and cheaply exported to distant locations where the nutrients are needed. The vast majority of the remaining waste-stream, now much lower in nutrients, can be irrigated on cropland near the lagoon.

INTEGRITY Ag Systems offers approaches from simple separation/clarification/aeration schemes to the fully automated INTEGRITY Advanced Chemical Treatment System. Simple, inexpensive systems can reduce nutrient loading in the primary waste stream by as little as 20 to 40% to meet the requirements of a farm's NMP. In cases of many cows and little land, our systems can remove up to 98% of the Phosphorous from the waste-stream.
