Dairy producers are increasingly turning to manure solids for use as a bedding material. Recovering the undigested plant cellulose in
manure for reuse as bedding material saves money and assures availability. At the same time, bedding recovery reduces the total volume
of manure by the amount of sawdust or other bedding material no longer imported to the farm. Bedding recovery also assures a quality product.

INTEGRITY Ag Systems offers a
wide range of bedding recovery systems from smaller, low cost screw presses designed for the 100-cow dairy to larger, high capacity systems
for large scale dairy operations. The INTEGRITY TSP-1408 Tapered Screw Press can produce manure solids at up to 60% dry matter (40% moisture).
At this very low moisture level, recycled plant cellulose makes excellent bedding material and can be composted easily and quickly. Un-composted
manure can be used for bedding by treating it with INTEGRITY BedSTAT for a dramatic and
sustained decrease in pathogens.

INTEGRITY also offers a turnkey, separation/composting package known as an In-Vessel Composter in which composting occurs on a continuous
basis (not a batch basis) inside a
specially designed inclined, rotating drum. The finished material is dry,
consistent, virtually pathogen free and ready for use as bedding as it exits
the drum.
INTEGRITY Ag Systems also offers solutions for sand bedding recovery including sand lanes and the McLanahan Mechanical Sand Separator.
